MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

We are proud to rebrand our annual charity golf tournament as “The Pudge,” a heartfelt tribute to H.K. “Pudge” and Deke Kendrick, who built Kendrick Oil Company on a dream in 1951.

Today that dream continues through their family, with the company led by son Danny Kendrick and grandsons Matthew and Andy. From humble beginnings, Kendrick Oil has grown to employ more than 200 people, serving wholesale and retail customers with accounts at more than 120 terminals across twelve states.

Renaming the tournament brings us back to the roots of Kendrick’s 75 incredible years – a man who loved the game of golf and loved his family and community even more. Pudge’s legacy of generosity, service and investment in others continues to shape the communities we call home, making The Pudge a fitting way to honor the foundation he built.
